Poljana d.d. covers all steps of technological circle in production of
fresh-water fish from basic flock, spawning all categories of fish, to its
commercial size.
The company has artificial spawning facilities, modern breeding lakes, its
own infrastructure: siloes, cattle food mixing facilities, cold-store ...
Production lasts for three years, when fish reaches its commercial size.
LOCATION
Breeding takes place in ecologicaly untacked environment of rever basin of
three rivers: Ilova,
Toplica and
Čavlovica in region of Slavonia. It is a special aquatory for production of all
kinds of fish.
ECOLOGY
Production is based on methodes that are developed troughout the century,
with tradition of ecological breed so we could preserve natural balance of
ecosystem, and to preserve and breed the most quality fish.
SALES
Fish is prepaired for export and local makets, and it is caught in the way that
preserves its natural freshness and quality. It is transported in alive state to
the customers.
